Illustration Friday: HeroWonder Worm -- Standing up for the spineless everywhere! My first IF submission and my first fully-digital illustration, too. Not my usual style, but the Caped Crawler needed a more graphic treatment. This was a fun exercise.
This is a character I began thinking of awhile back. I thought the worm would be interesting to develop because it would be a challenge to see how much action and emotion you could pack into a character that is, after all, essentially a line. Until now, I had never gotten around to drawing him; so he owes his more concrete existence to Illustration Friday.

Hi Robyn,
I love the Wonder Worm chatacter and I'm still ROFLMAO at "standing up for the spineless everywhere"!
I absolutely love your illustration! You got so much energy into what is, as you said, just a line. I like your other illustrations, too. You're extremely talented, and I can't wait to see more of your IF submissions.
Nice work.
I love it!
I am also so impressed with your other illustrations.
hmm...clever play on words, dramatic use of color and movement. It has to be a Robyn Brown original.
...verra, verra nice.
but where's his arch enemy, Super Wren?
You know me, looking for conflct wherever I go. I'm bookmarking you, woman!

OK, side note: Super Wren? That's funny.
WonderWorm rocks. I love how genuinely 'wormy' it is (i.e., no cartoony face).
Great illustration! Love the tag line, too. Great initial entry for IF!
